Mission Statement
The Metro Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association was formed to provide the citizens of St. Cloud, Waite Park, St. Joseph, Sauk Rapids, and Sartell a better understanding of the dedication and integrity of our local police departments. In doing so, we participate in activities that bridge the gap between the community and police departments, and contribute to the well being of these communities.
Corporate Description
The Metro Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association focuses on the needs to two main groups in the cities of St. Cloud, Waite Park, St. Joseph, Sauk Rapids, and Sartell:
1) Community Citizens - Making our neighborhoods a safer place to live with less crime by communicating the importance of citizen support and understanding of police agency functions, duties, and activities through community awareness activities and events.
2) Police Departments - Working closely with local police departments to assist and support officers in achieving their goals of crime prevention and community safety by volunteering during non-law enforcement events and being an effective source of communication between police agencies and our communities.
