The Metro Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (MCPAAA) is formed of Citizens Police Academy alumni. Our purpose is to provide our community members a better understanding of the integrity of our Sartell, Sauk Rapids, St. Cloud, St. Joseph, and Waite Park police departments.
We help accomplish this by participating in activities that contribute to the well-being of these communities and/or that help our police officers do their jobs with greater ease—creating safer, friendlier, and more secure neighborhoods. Our MCPAAA activities are focused on a two-pronged approach:
To foster a clear bridge of communication between our neighborhoods and police agencies through word-of-mouth awareness and participation in community/police events
To assist and support the police departments and these communities to achieve their mutual goals in ways that commensurate our mission statement and non-profit status.
